"My last stop on my most current Vermont trip was the fun River Roost Brewery in White River Junction. I covered a lot of ground here with a handful of different styles & pours since they had so much that looked good. I had tried a couple of their beers over the years with a friend who lives close to them, but this was my first trip. River Roost Brewery was established in 2016 & definitely has a diverse tap list with multiple lagers, IPA's, a saison, pilsner & more. RISE OF THE DAHU DIPA was the beer that stood out most when I had it previously during a tasting, being a really solid DIPA with citra & motueka hops. There was multiple different black lagers on draft which was awesome to see since it's become a favorite style of mine. Alright we have a lot of ground to cover with the six different pours I grabbed so let's get into it. 🍻🍻🔥☘ My first pour was a pint of the BIRKENHOLZ Helles Lager, a good above average helles that was the perfect light beer to start with. My second pour was a 13oz of the MAS VERDE IPA, a super juicy & drinkable IPA at 6.7%ABV. My third beer was a 13oz of the NORTHERN DUSKY IPA, this was phenomenal & my favorite IPA of the visit. It had everything you want in a NEIPA with enough haze to put you on your ass. My fourth pour was a taster of the 100 SECONDS TO MIDNIGHT Dark Lager, a very smooth & lightly creamy dark beer that had body & yet was still light. My fifth pour was a taster of the 100 SECONDS TO MIDNIGHT: VANILLA BEAN Dark Lager, a delicious variant of the previous taster with even more flavor with the vanilla bean. My last beer was a pint of the RISE OF THE DAHU DIPA which was even better than I remember from the tit, than it was in can. 🍻🍺🔥☘❄ It was a small intimate taproom with a handful of tables & some barrel seating. Definitely a cool space that could easily be a typical boring industrial type looking brewery, but loud enough with plenty to look at & differentiate itself from other similar looking spaces. We played a couple hours worth of the dirty version of "What Do You Meme", which was a super fun time with five people. "Came in while in town and thought it was a solid brewery. Tried 4 different IPA’s and they were all very good. Being in New England they seem to specialize in NEIPA’s which is a natural fit. It’s a nice location with both indoor and outdoor seating. I would’ve rated them 5-stars except every time I went to the bar the server was somewhere else. I never had to wait long, but kind of felt that was a bit of a deficiency. It wasn’t the bed of the world and I did very much like their beers. Well worth a visit if your anywhere nearby."

"Had a good experience because people here are super friendly. Nice place to chill and have a drink. Even though they didn't have a wheat Ale, I liked their double IPA (hello hello) and their baltic porter. It was my first time trying the porter, and it was pretty interesting (I'm no beer connoisseur, but it tasted weirdly like soy sauce mmm, so maybe go for a smaller pour)"

"River Roost Brewery is a must-visit in White River Junction! The beers were absolutely fantastic — fresh, flavorful, and expertly crafted. The new taproom is spacious, bright, and welcoming, making it a perfect place to relax with friends (or your dog — huge bonus that they’re dog-friendly indoors!). We grabbed some food from the BBQ spot across the street, which paired nicely with the beer. Just a heads up: the BBQ place doesn’t notify you when your food is ready, so keep an eye on the time if you order. Not a knock on the brewery at all, just something to be aware of. Overall, a great experience — we’ll definitely be back!"
